Greetings, friend! My name is Chad Whitacre. I am a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church (OCA) outside of Pittsburgh.

I publish this website with the blessing of His Eminence, Archbishop Melchisidek of Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania. He has asked that Fr. Thomas Soroka (my priest) and Dr. Edith Humphrey (my godmother) review the materials published here, “to maintain the principle of ‘when two or three are gathered,’” so that thereby Gospel Desk might be “‘of the Church’ in a very concrete sense.” I am deeply grateful to all three.
